Forged pistons and uprated rods dissipate heat better and can cope with higher combustion pressures. They are therefore ideal in highly tuned engines, particularly boosted engines where greater heat levels are encountered. Since it is no more work to do all these jobs at once rather than just say, rings, there is a set price for this work; including bore honing (overbore extra). All parts can be supplied by us, such as JE, Weisco, Mahle, HKS, Total Seal and Carillo. Get in touch for a competitive price.
