ECU modifications are necessary when trying to achieve power levels around 10% and more over standard to maintain  the safety of an engine and to free up the power that the engine mods should be making (with the correct tuning). These include chipping of ECU's, replacing ECU's and installation of datalogging equipment and sensors. We do not like 'hacks'. That is, boost/fuel cut defenders, fuel modifiers, piggyback ECU's etc. These devices can and will destroy your engine and cost you more in the long run. They are no substitute for proper tuning and are not much better than the boost valves of old.
Provided the software is available/supplied we can tune virtually any ecu. To date we have tuned Aem, Apexi, BRE, Crome, Greddy, Hondata, Link, Motec, and more.

Both of the following ECU's can be used as boost controllers and water/nitrous injection controllers. The benefits from moving to a standalone engine management system such as these are manifold. Not least of which is full future compatability. What this means is that once you have chosen the right ecu for your engine, any future mods you wish to carry out will easy to integrate and re-tune for, often not requiring a full re-map. Choosing the right ecu for your application is based on how many connections are to be made, as the more expensive Plus has more in and outs. It is only required on the most complex setups, such as V8 's or highly tuned turbo motors as the increased possibility for sensing and control can lead to a safer engine. That said, we have fitted the LEM on a rather complex twin turbo v6 engine showing the adaptability of these systems, but that did push it to its limits.

Honda ECU modification:
Many Honda ECU's can be modified for datalogging and real time programmability by us. This is a very good, cost effective way of tuning a vehicle to match any modifications you have made, including turbo charging and individual throttle bodies. Options include full throttle shifting and launch, among others.
