There's no point being able to go faster if you cant slow down as well. The most effective way of increasing stopping power is to fit larger diameter brake disks. These also benefit greatly from better calipers, not least because it makes fitting easier. Off the shelf kits are available, or, as in most cases, we can make one up to suit your needs. We can supply parts from manufacturers such as AP engineering (the best), Willwood (cost effective), Mintex etc. 4 (or more) pot calipers are used to increase pad size and heat dissipation area, to achieve greater service life from the pads, and better brake control over single piston calipers. Two piece disks are used to allow disks of a greater size to stay aligned by allowing a certain amount of 'float' against the bell. Aluminum bells are used to reduce rotational momentum/inertia and unsprung mass, as well as better heat dissipation.
