  • Brake bias control:

When changing brake performance or use of a vehicle (i.e. fitting bigger brakes or setting a car up for drifting) it can become necessary to adjust brake bias (front to rear Brake bias valvebalance) to achieve maximum braking force or the different braking characteristics required of a particular type of motorsport. There are many ways this can be achieved, with varied prices. These range from adjustment of original bias valves to fitment of (hydraulic line) bias adjusters or twin piston pedal boxes. One method we use when continued adjustment is not required, is to replace rear suspension mounted bias valves, which aren't much use on a lowered vehicle (and tend to rust and seize anyway) with the right rate pressure sensitive valve, as used on most Hondas. these valves allow even braking on a light pedal pressure (allowing for even brake wear) and limit maximum pressure to the rear when heavy pressure is applied.
