Multiple job pricing/Tuning packages:
Often, where engine work is concerned, it can be significantly cheaper to get many jobs done at once, rather than each at a time. Take for example camshaft replacement and cylinder head porting. The cams would have to be removed to port the head, so provided there would be no extra machining work needed, there would be no extra labour involved in fitting the cams. Also, where the amount of work would be eased by the removal of the engine, the charges for labour on individual jobs reduces significantly.
Three examples are given, one turbocharged (3sgte), one high performance N/A (b16), and one not-so-high performance N/A (4age). These are meant to be taken as a guide for other, similar, engines.
